Nov 4-Dec 18, 9:30-11:30am NO CLASS ON 11/11 OR 11/27 Hello prospective Sensational Start families, We are so excited for the 2024-2025 school year! I wanted to introduce myself, highlight the overall mission behind Sensational Start and what your child needs for the program. My name is Cheryl Guggemos and I am the program director at Sensational Fun and a pediatric Occupational Therapist with over 22 years of experience. I helped create Sensational Fun over 7 years ago, along with Jennifer Vasquez (Kline) - the Executive Director. Jennifer and I created Sensational Start last year because we saw the NEED in our community, especially off the heels of covid! The need for our youngsters to have a proper environment (and instruction) that teaches and enhances social skills such as transitions, regulation, and of course communicating and interacting with others! We work this into a typical morning of a preschooler. Giving them free play, circle and story time, and of course some sensory and motor activities to teach and practice skills being taught! Quite simply giving them a solid foundation and making an impactful difference in your child’s development. Here is a quick look at the structure of our morning. *Subject to change- after all we work with kids : ) 9:30-10:00 Free Play- mainly in Gross motor room* Sometimes a movement song is played Focus is on playing with peers, sharing, cooperative play, turn taking, and more 10:00-10:15 Morning Exercises/Cooperative games/Obstacle course time- (focus on ______) 10:15-10:30 Book time/Bathroom time Read Aloud (Book____) 10:30-10:45 Circle time- they sit in the little chairs Good morning song and other songs 10:45-11:15 Fine motor/Play time/Centers This is when we complete lots of developmental fine motor activities, visual motor activities and enforce play skills 11:15-11:30 Bathroom/wash hands Snack- Sensational Fun will provide the snack Parent pick-up Cost: $336 (for the whole session!)

Cancellation Policy

********************************************************************************************* Cancellation of FREE programs are appreciated ASAP (and required to stay off the naughty list) so another family can benefit. PAID programs require a week notice for Social Skill Weeks and 3 days in advance of one day programs or events to get a refund. ****Please send out a new message if you are unable to attend the program you signed up for.
