Service Description
Come join us for a day of Culture, Connection and Celebration Social Skills! Date: 10/12/16 Time: 9:00-11:30 am Cost: $62.50 This instructor-led community class will focus on what makes communities special and how we can show respect and appreciation for other cultures. October 12 social skills will be a double celebration—honoring Indigenous Peoples’ Day while also celebrating your Executive Director’s birthday. The social skills goals we will be focusing on include: respect, community, gratitude, friendship, and celebration Along with the social skills of turn takings, inducing yourself, helping others out in need and celebrating differences. A detailed email will be sent out prior to the community class on what to pack and the plan for the day. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy: Privately Paid Social Skills- A seven-day notice prior to the start of the Social Skills program is required to receive a refund. Self-Direction Payment Policy: As a good-faith measure, a seven-day notice is expected if your child cannot attend the Social Skills program. If a child does not attend the program or is unable to participate on any given day that you signed up for under self direction- the parent will be responsible for a $30 no show-cancellation fee/day - if not given within seven days of said program. We are not allowed to bill self direction if you child does not show up for a program. WE NOW HAVE A BOOK/DAY social skills for most of the weeks. Please sign up according to your schedule. The grouping of days gives a discounted rate. **********Important Note: If you are unable to attend a program you signed up for, please send a new message to inform us. Do not reply to text reminders, as we are unable to view those responses. Thank you for your understanding!
