MVP Makers Summer Social Skills @Sensational Fun 2881 Southwestern Blvd Ages 4 and up+ August 4, 5, 6 Time: 9:00-2:00 pm **Drop off program Cost: $375 per child. Join Sensational Fun for MVP Makers Summer Social Skills! In this dynamic and inclusive community class, which is instructor led, children of all abilities build essential social skills through active and adventure-filled fun with an understanding that Everyone Brings Value to the Team. This engaging program encourages teamwork, communication, and confidence—all in a welcoming environment. Core Skills We Build and work on: • Self-regulation & emotional awareness • Turn-taking & cooperative play • Initiating and maintaining conversations • Body awareness in group settings • Transitioning smoothly between activities • Group participation & embracing differences build the tallest tower complete a puzzle together relay challenges group scavenger hunt Skills practiced: sharing ideas taking turns compromise problem-solving encouraging peers 🎤 MVP Spotlight Circle Each camper gets a moment to be the “MVP of the day.” Peers share one strength they notice: kindness leadership listening creativity helping others This supports: self-esteem giving compliments recognizing peer strengths Learning Through the power of teamwork: Whether indoors or outdoors, every activity is designed to encourage social interaction and skill-building. Kids will engage in exciting team sports like soccer, volleyball, ladder-ball and track-style games, along with imaginative outdoor adventures, and creative arts & crafts. Adventure Awaits: With a strong focus on movement-based games and friendly competition, Game On! transforms social learning into an action-packed experience. Through teamwork and shared goals, children build confidence, friendships, and important life skills—all while having a blast! You will provide a filled water bottle, packed lunch (*Peanut and nut free*) and extra clothes. An email will be send out with all the expectations prior to the start of the social skills classes. BEING POTTY TRAINED IS NOT REQUIRED! Please pack any pull up, diapers, and wipes your little one might need. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy: Privately Paid Social Skills- A seven-day notice prior to the start of the Social Skills program is required to receive a refund. Self-Direction Payment Policy: As a good-faith measure, a seven-day notice is expected if your child cannot attend the Social Skills program. If a child does not attend the program or is unable to participate on any given day that you signed up for under self direction- the parent will be responsible for a $30 no show-cancellation fee/day - if not given within seven days of said program. We are not allowed to bill self direction if you child does not show up for a program. WE NOW HAVE A BOOK/DAY social skills for most of the weeks. Please sign up according to your schedule. The grouping of days gives a discounted rate. **********Important Note: If you are unable to attend a program you signed up for, please send a new message to inform us.
