Red, White, & Boom Social Skills @Sensational Fun, 2881 Southwestern Blvd Ages 4 and up+ June 29, 30, July 1, & July 2nd Time: 9:00-2:00 pm **Drop off program Cost: $500 per child for the week (no program on 7/3/26)*. ALL WEEK is required for this price. If you are unable to commit to all days, PLEASE sign up under *PAY PER DAY Social Skills classes. Join Sensational Fun for Red, White, & BOOM! Summer Social Skills! Kids of all abilities will build essential social skills through hands-on playful 4th of July inspired activities filled with creativity, exploration, and fun while practicing communication, emotional awareness, turn taking, and teamwork in a supportive environment. This is a community based class, which is instructor led. Core Skills & Activity Ideas 💥 A “BOOM” into what we’ll be focusing on: 💥 Friendship Skills Focus: Making friends Joining groups Sharing interests Being inclusive Activities: Firework Icebreaker Toss Stars & Stripes Craft Station Partner Pop Challenges Communication Skills Focus: Starting conversations Active listening Taking turns speaking Asking questions Activities: Pass the Spark Game — similar to hot potato with a social twist OF COUSE-- All-American Greeting Practice & Dance Party — fun ways to say hello and connect Emotional Regulation Focus: Identifying emotions Managing frustration Coping skills Self-awareness Activities: Firework Feelings Craft — expressing emotions through colors & bursts Coping Skills “Blast-Off” Boards — tools for calming down Stars & Sky Yoga — guided movement, breathing & imagination Teamwork & Cooperation Focus: Working together Compromise Problem-solving Encouraging peers Activities: Build-a-City Challenge — work together to create a festive “firework town” and have a parade Red, White & BOOM Relay Races and Games — group coordination & fun You will provide a filled water bottle, packed lunch (*Peanut and nut free*) and extra clothes. An email will be send out with all the expectations prior to the start of the social skills classes. BEING POTTY TRAINED IS NOT REQUIRED! Please pack any pull up, diapers, and wipes your little one might need. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy: Privately Paid Social Skills- A seven-day notice prior to the start of the Social Skills program is required to receive a refund. Self-Direction Payment Policy: As a good-faith measure, a seven-day notice is expected if your child cannot attend the Social Skills program. If a child does not attend the program or is unable to participate on any given day that you signed up for under self direction- the parent will be responsible for a $30 no show-cancellation fee/day - if not given within seven days of said program. We are not allowed to bill self direction if you child does not show up for a program. WE NOW HAVE A BOOK/DAY social skills for most of the weeks. Please sign up according to your schedule. The grouping of days gives a discounted rate. **********Important Note: If you are unable to attend a program you signed up for, please send a new message to inform us.
