We are so excited to introduce this Sensational "Christmas MakerSpace" STEAM community class-where Sensational Fun and Maker Movement collaborate. This class is geared for our tweens (10+), teens and adult population. The registration for this class will be staggered at 15 minute intervals due to the nature of the class and for engraving. The overall class will be approximately 45- 60 minutes long. This new inclusive community based STEAM class is instructor led. You will get a chance to make an ornament, designed to provide a memorable, hands-on STEAM experience for while celebrating creativity and bringing out the holiday spirit. Our goal is to create an engaging, fun, and personalized STEAM activity that leaves participants with keepsakes and lasting memories. Class Expectations : One will move through 3 interactive STEAM stations: Customize, Create, and Commemorate. Along each station STEAM education will be discussed. Station 1 – Customize: Participants select 5 ornaments each • 1 leather ornament- which will be completely tailored to the participants request or design preferences (pets, sports, brands...you name it -- we customize it). The leather ornament will be laser engraved. ** A VERY EXCITING PROCESS TO WATCH! • 4 ornaments from our curated stock image collection (Christmas themed - Santa, Reindeer, Elfs) Station 2 – Create: Wooden Ornament Customizing and wrapping At this station participate can decorate the 4 wooden ornaments- utilizing various media and techniques to add to their creativity. Each participant can add their own creative touches to make their ornaments truly unique to them. They can choose to wrap them for family members as Christmas gifts, Station 3 – Commemorate After finishing their ornament customization, participants and their parents/caregivers can have professional family photos taken by Stately Photos, capturing their creations and the memories made during the event. Photos will be shared and released by Maker Movement to all attendees.
