Our new inclusive community, instructor led KIDS ART class is here!! This art class- for children 9 years old and up, will focus on "Creating Together, Belonging Together". In this 5- week long inclusive art class, children of all abilities will be able to explore their creativity through painting, creativity drawing, and use of mixed media. The focus is on expression, not perfection. Participants work at their own pace while building confidence, social skills, and friendships in a supportive, judgment-free environment. Parents are required to stay for this class. All art activities are adapted to meet diverse sensory, physical, and cognitive needs so that everyone has a way to shine. Our Sensational Fun Key Elements: Multi-sensory approach: Use textures, colors, movement, and even music to inspire. Choice-based: Let participants pick materials and projects that resonate with them. Process over product: Emphasize self-expression rather than a “perfect” finished piece. Collaborative options: Group murals, partner projects, or community exhibits. Accessibility built in: Adapted tools (easy-grip brushes, adaptive scissors), visual supports, and step-by-step options. Cancellation Policy
We offer "session" billing/group class billing, which is typically a group of classes (i.e. 6 classes) for a specific duration. A two week notice is required if you are unable to continue in the "session/classes" in order to get half of your money back for the future session dates. SNOW DAYS/Mother Nature: We will make every attempt to do what we can to ensure the program will be open. However, travel bans, weather issues, including, but not limited to parking lot issues do and can occur and are out of our control. * NO money will be given back for one missed class due to weather related issues or missed classes. However, if there are two consecutive weeks that we are unable to hold a class due to weather related issues, the end date of the class will be changed to add in an additional class to make up for the one snow day. SELF -DIRECTION: We are not allowed to bill for any type of missed services. In case of an no show absence, the parent will be charged a no-show fee of 50% of the service. * Please communicate with us, if a class will be missed for a prior engagement.
